Delivery and Returns Information

Here you will find information regarding postage prices, packaging, lost or damaged items, our returns policy and dispatch and delivery times.

Delivery Prices and Times

​At this time we are currently shipping within the US along with Canada and Australia. We plan to open up UK shipping as soon as I receive my VAT number. Shipping within the US is sent by USPS ground and is expected to take 7-14 business days.  International orders are sent by UPS standard, have insurance and are expected to arrive in 7-14 business days. 

 

Please note that during busier times of the year, like around Christmas or strikes, it may take longer.

Postage prices vary depending on the items bought so shipping prices for jewellery pieces are cheaper compared to bigger items such as our planner of mystery boxes.

Packaging and Dispatch Times

Orders take approximately 5-10 days to create and ship. I try to ship all orders within a week if possible. Please note this does not include pre-orders which will have their own dispatch times on the listing. Customers will receive a shipping notification by email, once their order has been despatched, containing tracking information (if that option was chosen). If your order is delayed for any reason, you will receive an email. 

Orders are sent safely in bubblewrap packaging to avoid any damages during shipping. 

Please note: 

  • We are not held liable for any tax/customs fees

  • We hold no responsibility if you provide the wrong address

  • Our items sent by 1st Class or International Standard are not trackable services so tracking is unavailable. 

Lost or Damaged Post

Lost or damaged post will need to be reported to simplygothicco@yahoo.com and will be responded to within two working days. In the case of a lost order, I will report it to the postal company which will then investigate it. Once I receive the refund by the postal company, I will then contact the customer and give the option of a refund or a replacement order. This process can vary in time depending on the location but usually takes around 1-2 weeks. 

 

In the case of an item getting damaged by the fault of the postal company, this will again be reported and investigated. Photographic evidence is vital in order to claim for replacements so please keep all packaging and items as this is what is required to make a claim.  This process again can vary in time.

Return Policy

We hope you love your new gothic jewellery and stationery but we understand if you need to make a return. 

 

 Customers can return their Simply Gothic products for a refund within 14 days of receiving their items. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on any earrings purchased due to hygiene reasons. 

 

If you would like to return your items, please contact us via email at simplygothicco@yahoo.com . We will then send you a returns form available for download. After contacting us, you then have 14 days to return the items to us. A refund will be processed within another 14 days of us receiving your returned items. Shipping costs and import fees will not be covered in the refund , therefore you will receive a refund of the total product cost.

The returned products must be in new, unworn condition. Items showing accidental damage or neglect such as being exposed to chemicals, creams, water etc will not be accepted. 

 

Please note customers are responsible for return shipping costs as this is not covered by us. We recommend you sent the items tracked and remember to keep a proof of postage receipt. We cannot be held accountable for returned items that don't arrive back to us. In the event that your returned items get lost, we can advise on how to report it to Royal Mail.

On the rare occasion your order arrives faulty or damaged, please send us an email and we will either fix it or send a replacement.
